David Gene Hoon died March 16, 2015, at his Black Diamond, Wash., home.
Born Aug. 16, 1933, in Titonka, Iowa, he graduated from Nashua High School and the University of Iowa,
and was employed as a pharmacist in Marion and Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his wife, Marlys; children, Laura Johnson, Rodney Hoon and Jennifer Hoon; and grandchildren, Kara and Justin Johnson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Marion Hoon; brother, Jack Hoon; and sister, Mary Tracy.
A Celebration of Life will be June 20 in Nashua, Iowa.
