La Porte City
David K. Glime, 71, died Thursday, May 12, 2016, at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo due to cardiovascular arrest.
Funeral services: noon Monday, May 16, at American Lutheran Church in La Porte City. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, May 15, and one hour before services Monday at the church. He will be laid to rest next to his wife in Westview Cemetery, La Porte City.
David is survived by his children, Gwendolyn Vogeler of La Porte City and Wyatt (Monica) Glime of Hartley; one sister, Ann Glime of Colesburg; six grandchildren; mother-in-law, Harriet Siek of Vinton; brothers-in-law, H. Marion (Nancy) and Richard Siek of Blairstown and Robert (Vicki) Siek of Grand River; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial fund has been established.
