David G. Luedtke, 79, of Cedar Rapids passed away on April 15, 2021 at his home.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 18, 2021, at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home from 3 to 5 p.m. Following the continued guidance from health officials, physical distancing must be practiced, which requires a limited number of people into the visitation at one time. The use of facemasks or shields is required. Service will be held Monday, April 19, 2021, at King of Kings Lutheran Church on North Center Point Road, starting at 10 a.m.
David George Luedtke was born July 28, 1941, in Wisconsin; the son of George and Ruth (Stroesser) Luedtke. He graduated from Wild Rose High School in Wisconsin. David served in the United States Navy.
David is survived by his wife of 53 years Leilani; his children, Steven (Kelly) Luedtke of Norway, Ann (Jim) Yacko of Altoona, Robert (Anna) Luedtke of Cedar Rapids and Tonya (Jonathan) Mills of Alburnett; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, John Luedtke; and one grandchild.
Memorial donations may be directed to King of Kings or Hospice of Mercy.
