David C. Drinkwater, 88, of Manchester, died Thursday, Dec. 11, 2014, at the Good Neighbor Home in Manchester.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Mida Drinkwater of Manchester; his six children, Vicki Carradus of Davenport, Kathryn Johnson of Onalaska, Wis., Robert Drinkwater of Manchester, Brian Drinkwater of Las Cruces, N.M., Tania Drinkwater of Cedar Rapids and Sean Drinkwater of Kansas City, Mo.; 18 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grand-daughter.

Memorial Service, with military rites: 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015, at the United Methodist Church, Manchester, with the Rev. Michael Druhl officiating. Visitation: 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, at the church. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
