David Brett Dishong, 84, of Las Vegas, Nev., formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Sept. 23, 2021.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Brett and Edith Dishong; and daughter, Angela.
Survivors include wife of 67 years, Barbara; four sons, Philip, Jay, Andy and Adam; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
David was born Feb. 9, 1937, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He graduated from Roosevelt High School, Class of 1954. He attended Iowa State University. A small service will be held on Friday in Nevada for family members.
