Daugherty, Gary Don
Gary Don Daugherty, 65, died Sunday, July 26, 2009. Memorial Service: 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, 2009, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. Bill Harnish.
Survivors include wife, Mary; mother, Norma; children, John (Judy) Eichacker, Mary "Pixie" Green, David (Jennifer) Eichacker, Amy (Mark) Dean, and Kat Eichacker; grandchildren, Charley Eichacker and Samantha Upchurch; brother, "Doug" (Nancy) Daugherty; sister, Penny (Bob) Lewis; aunt, Pat Daugherty; and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father; brothers, Rod and Charles; and sister, Sue Anne.
Born September 27, 1943, the son of Garland and Norma (Borders) Daugherty, in Linton, Ind. He served with the United States Navy. In 1975, Gary was united in marriage to Mary Lisenbee. He worked for Cargill.
