Darryl Hysler, 75, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on June 3, 2022, in his home. He is survived by his wife, Dawn; son, Ben; daughter, Alyson Haynes; and brother and sister-in-law, Arnold and Jody Hysler of Jacksonville, Fla. Also surviving are Joy and Neil Mick (Rhys and Anya), Heather and Seth Wild (Avery and Grayson) and Jeremy Gruettner.
A memorial service will be held on July 30, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at the Christ Episcopal Church, 220 40th St. NE, Cedar Rapids. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to The Cedar Rapids Metro Parkinson’s Disease Association or to a charity of one’s choice.
