Darold "Dare" Owen Smith, 87, of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 10, at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling St. SW, with burial to follow in Baker Cemetery. Full military rites will be conducted. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 9, at the chapel.
