Darold A. King, 75, of Tipton, passed away on Feb. 15, 2022, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. A graveside service will be held on Monday, Feb. 21, 2022, at 11 a.m. at the Tipton Masonic Cemetery with full military honors. All friends and family are invited to attend.
The son of Norman and Virginia King, he was born May 13, 1946 in Tipton, Iowa. He married Karen Maurer Sept. 3, 1966. She passed away on March 27, 2014.
Darold is survived by sons, Brian and Jeff and their families.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen; parents; brother; and a nephew.
He served 26 years in the military, six in the Army Reserve and 20 in the U.S. Air Force, retiring in 1991.
