Darlien Ann (Simon) Rans, 96, of Manchester, passed away Friday, May 26, 2017, at her home in Manchester.
Survivors include her nine children, Judy (Jim) Errthum of Manchester, Doug (Mona) Rans of Manchester, Elaine (Ed) Crane of Center Point, Donna (Jan) Meyer of Manchester, Mary Kay Rans, Jane Ramthun and Janet (Dennis Glynn) Rans, all of Nevada, Sheila (Brian Roling) Brown of Manchester and Angie (Todd) Summers of Masonville; 35 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; her sister, Helen Sheston of Dubuque; daughter-in-law, Karen Rans of Dubuque; son-in-law, Bill Gearhart of Manchester; and many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 2, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Manchester, with the Rev. Joseph Schneider officiating. Visitation: 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 1, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester, where there will be a 3 p.m. Scripture service. Friends also may call one hour before Mass at the church on Friday. Interment: St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Manchester.
