Darlene Kivell, 80, of Aurora, died Friday morning, April 3, 2015, at Buchanan County Long Term Care Center in Independence. Funeral services: 10 a.m. Monday, April 6, at the United Methodist Church,
Aurora, with Pastor Allen Craft officiating. Visitation: 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home, Oelwein, and one hour before services at the church on Monday. Interment: Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, rural Oelwein.
A memorial fund has been established for the Aurora Comet Center and the Aurora Historical Society.
