Darla Colehour, 54, died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2018, at St Luke's Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 9, at Viola Methodist Church with interment in the Riverside Cemetery, Anamosa. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Goettsch Funeral Home, Anamosa. Pastors Jim and Kris May will officiate at the services.
Survivors include her husband, Jeff; her children, Nick, Jennifer and Michelle, all of Stone City, and Joseph (April) of Maquoketa; six grandchildren, Dakota, Cristian, Chris, Angie, Connor and Duncan; her sister, Wanda (Orland) Kremer of Troy Mills; and her sisters-in-law, Cho Wood of Monticello, Kay Wood of Manchester and Jan Wood of Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Harold, Tom and Wayne; and a brother-in-law, Dave Walker.
Darla Kay Wright was born Jan. 24, 1964, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She was the daughter of James and Leila Wright Wright. She graduated from the Anamosa community schools in 1983. Darla married Jeff Colehour on July 2, 1983, at Martelle Christian Church. Darla was a para educator at the Anamosa community schools.
