Daringer, Norman L. (Johnny)
Norman L. (Johnny) Daringer, 87, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, after a long illness. Per his request, there will be no service.
He is survived by his wife, Pat; four children, Donna Smith of Tama, and Normandy, Jon and Steve (Sandy), all of Cedar Rapids; one brother, Carroll (Juanita) of Whitney, Texas; and a sister-in-law, Betty Daringer of Oelwein.
Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and one great-grandson.
He worked at FMC for 19 years and enjoyed retirement.
He loved traveling, kids and going to Riverside. He never met a stranger.
