Dareld A. Horne, 83, died Sunday, April 20, 2014, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Memorial graveside services, with military rites, will be held at a later date.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie; daughters, Debbie (Frank) Ollinger of Rathburn, Diane (Don) Bringmann and Denise McMullen, both of Belle Plaine; sons, Douglas (Karol) Horne of Chelsea and Donald (JoAnn) Horne of Tama; sister, Marie Emerson of Rochester; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
Dareld was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and a brother.
