Darcy Jo Luke Davis passed away in Columbus, Ohio, on July 26, 2017. She was 45. Darcy was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on Aug. 26, 1971, to Don and Jackie Luke.
Darcy graduated in 1989 from Kennedy High School, and in 1993 from Cornell College. On Aug. 3, 1996, Darcy was married to Chris Davis. They made their home in Columbus, Ohio.
Left to cherish Darcy's memory are her husband, Chris; parents, Don and Jackie Luke; sister, Jamie Harmening (Shawn Proksa); brother, Casey Luke (Mackenzie Boeding); her father-in-law, Mac Davis; mother-in-law, Lois Tyson; nieces, Taylor and Reece Luke and Lillian and Ella Harmening, and the light of her life, niece, and goddaughter, Amelia May Davis; nephews, Lucas Harmening, Asher Atwater, Aiden Davis and Andrew Hinz; grandmother, Jeanette Maier; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and her very special bulldogs, Otis and George.
She was preceded in death by grandfathers, Bill Maier and George Luke; grandmother, Anna Luke; aunt, Kathie Maier; and bulldogs, Gumbo, Artie, Cheeto and Buttercup.
There will be a celebration of life on Darcy's birthday, Aug. 26, at the City of Fairfax Community Center, 300 80th St. Court, Fairfax, Iowa.
