Danny lost his battle with cancer Saturday, Dec. 22, 2018.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry; and two sisters, Dorothy Miller (Illinois) and Janet Cole (Illinois); and three daughters, Jamie Combs (Indiana), Heather Hoover (Illinois) and Tina Redmond (Illinois). He had just recently connected with two of them.
Dan was a proud veteran and served during the Vietnam War era. He meant everything to his wife and was a good friend, brother-in-law, uncle, and brother and loved all of his family. He loved to fish and go drink a beer with his friends. He loved to talk every day with his friend Wayne and spend time with his friend Tim. He loved to call his sister Dorothy every day and watch football with his good friend Lee. His last job was working for Tom Shaw at Clemens Canvas. He will be greatly missed.
There will be a graveside service in Moweaqua, Ill., Jan. 5, 2019, with a 21-gun salute and taps played by our neighbor, Greg.
