DANIEL SCHRADER Cedar Rapids Daniel R. Schrader, 53, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at his home following a sudden illness. Funeral Mass: 11 a.m. Friday at St. John XXIII Catholic Church by the Rev. Dustin Vu. Burial: St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family after 9 a.m. Friday at the church. Teahen Funeral Home is serving the family. Dan is survived by two sons, Patrick (Amy Litwiler) of Dysart and Nicholas of Ames; mother, Beverly of Walford; five siblings, Cynthia (John) Freeman of Mingo, Bill (Molly) of Walford, Julie (Rusty) McCloud of Arlington, Texas, Larry (Becky) of Norway and Rick (Linda) of Watkins; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, James; and nephew, Evan Freeman. Daniel was born Nov. 16, 1961, in Cedar Rapids, the son of James and Beverly Boland Schrader. He worked at Cryovac for 18 years and at Ron Hummer Trucking. Dan loved tinkering and working on old tractors. Memorials may be directed to the family.
