Daniel R. Martin, 58, of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018, at his home. Per Dan's wishes there will be no services. Iowa Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include a sister, Deby (Jamie) Emanuel, of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; two brothers, Douglas (Doreen), of Atkins, and David (Cindy), of Vinton; and several nieces and nephews.
Dan was born on April 2, 1960, in Cedar Rapids, the son of John and Theresa Wiskus Martin. He graduated from Jefferson High School in 1978. Dan worked for Verizon in their IT department for many years.
He enjoyed fishing, spending time with family and friends and was an avid fan of the Kansas City Chiefs.
