Daniel Mease, age 63, of Decorah, died on Monday, Jan. 22, 2018, at his home in Decorah after a long battle with cancer.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 26, 2018, at the Schluter-Balik Funeral Home, 604 South Ave., in Decorah.
Dan is survived by his daughter, Kelsey (fiancé Alex Hagg) Mease, Decorah; special friend, Janice Myers, Fort Atkinson, Iowa; brother, Jerry (Vicki) Mease, Winterset, Iowa; nieces and nephews, Kevin (Wendy) Mease, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Jennifer (Doug) Mease, Winterset, Jeff (Chasity) Mease, Des Moines, Iowa, and Jason (friend Mary Jo Harms) Mease, Huxley, Iowa; along with great-nieces and -nephews.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Margaret (Steddom) Mease; and brother, David Mease.
