Daniel Laverne Kent, 54, of Hiawatha, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2021.
Daniel was born on Dec. 29, 1966, in Marengo, Iowa. Daniel was a heavy equipment operator and mechanic who recently worked for Bushman Excavating. Daniel loved fishing, hunting, playing pool, rebuilding classic cars and his purple monster truck. He enjoyed giving his grandson Tavien rides
in his excavator. He adored his beloved dog Zoey. He will be dearly missed by many.
He is survived by children, Daniel James Kent (Tara) and Ashley Marie Kent (Justin); stepbrother, Tim Snow; sisters, Lori James and Annette McCullley; parents, Sharon Kay and Kent Snow; and Daniel Kent, Ashley Kent (Tavien, Zayden, Ezekiel), Lori James. Annette McCulley, Missy Snow and Tim Snow.
He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Laverne Kent Sr.; and material grandparents and paternal grandparents.
