Springfield, Mo.
Daniel Dean Young, 62, of Springfield, Mo., formerly from Cedar Rapids and Urbana areas, died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2022, at Mercy Hospital, Springfield, Mo.
Daniel was born Nov. 2, 1959, to Tom and Helen Young, in Cedar Rapids. Daniel worked many jobs but most recently
Wal-Mart and as a EMT on the Urbana Ambulance Service.
Survivors include his six children, Sara (Adam) Wutke, Danny (Amelia) Young, Donny Young, Ashley Young, Jordan Young and Haley Young; four grandchildren, Gabe, Ally, Collin and Caleb; his brother, Jeff (Becky) Young; many nieces and nephews; and his cat Tippy.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Cindy Klein.
Dans services are at 6 p.m. Friday March 4, at Herman Lohmeyer Funeral Home, Springfield, Missouri.
