Daniel “Danny” Bernard Becker, 89, of Cedar Rapids and formerly of Elk Run Heights, passed away surrounded by his family following a battle with cancer on November 25, 2024, at UnityPoint St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Patricia; five children, Gary (Michelle) Becker of Cedar Rapids, Tracy (Dennis) Pearson of Mechanicsville, Troy (Julie) Becker of Cedar Falls, Brian (Sherri) Becker of Cedar Rapids, and Amy (Paul) Owen of Cedar Rapids; four siblings; twelve grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren on the way.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, December 2, 2024, at 10:30 a.m., at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Waterloo. The visitation will be on Sunday, December 1, 2024, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., at Hagarty Waychoff Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway Avenue, with a Rosary Service at 1:45 p.m. There will also be a visitation for an hour prior to the mass at the church on Monday. The burial will take place at Mt. Olivet Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. on Monday with military rites. www.hagartywaychoffgrarup.com
