Daniel "Boone" Foster, 59, died on Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids, following a brief illness.
A celebration of Daniel's life will be held at a later date. Private family interment will be in the Oakwood Cemetery, Monticello. Surviving is his wife, Angela; a son, Daniel Foster; his mother, Judy (George) Woodson; his siblings, Debbra (Kevin) Hebert, Wendy (Mark) LeMense; and several stepsisters and many relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father and two infant brothers, Johnny and Brett.
Daniel Joe Foster was born Nov. 14, 1962, at Monticello, Iowa. He was the son of John and Judy Walton, Foster. He attended Kennedy High School in Cedar Rapids. Dan started working for Iowa Glass in 1985 and was employed there for 33 years. He retired in 2018.
Dan loved working on his cars and trucks. He owned a race car for several years racing at Hawkeye Downs. He enjoyed his many cats, especially Bella. He always loved the time he spent with family and friends.
