DAN F. SLAYMAKER
Center Point
Dan Forrest Slaymaker, 86, of Center Point, Iowa, passed away Thursday, Nov. 8, 2018, at the Hiawatha Care Center. There will be no visitation. Family graveside services will be held at a later date.
Arrangements made by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Center Point.
Dan was born Aug. 21, 1932, to Floyd and Mildred Slaymaker, in Keystone, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Emi, in 2015; and his parents.
Dan is survived by two sons, Vic (Julie) and Matt (Chris) of Center Point; four grandchildren, Luke (Kallie) of Marion, Brock (Maggie) of Mount Vernon, Kyle of Center Point, and Miranda Tiemens (Tyler) of Johnston; three great-grandchildren, Reagan, Rowan and Rozlyn; a sister-in-law, Ginny Haars of Fort Worth, Texas; and many nieces and nephews.
