Dalziel, Darlene 'Dar'
Darlene “Dar” Dalziel, 72, of Maquoketa, died Wednesday morning, May 4, 2011, at her home. A celebration of her life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 7, from First United Methodist Church in Maquoketa. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Carson & Son Funeral Cremation Services in Maquoketa. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. in McFarlan Cemetery, What Cheer.
Darlene “Dar” is survived by her husband, Dean Dalziel of Maquoketa; her children, Loni Duncan (Gary Wilkinson) of Oxford, Scott (Michelle) Dalziel of Dunnellon, Fla., and Shelly (Kelly) Sweet of Manchester; six grandchildren, Ashley, Clay, Allan, Danielle, Aubrie and Erin; two stepgrandchildren, Devlin and Brian; three great-grandchildren; a stepgreat-grandchild; and two sisters, Marlene (Jerry) Dalziel of Maquoketa and Evelyn (Lyle) Molyneux of What Cheer.
