Dale E. Struebing, 88, of Hopkinton, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2014, at the Good Neighbor Home in Manchester. No services are planned at this time.
Dale Eugene Struebing was born Dec. 7, 1925, to Joseph and Ellen Wood Struebing in Rising City, Neb. He was united in marriage to Birdene Rudder on Oct. 21, 1955, in Lincoln, Neb. She passed away in 2009. Dale proudly served in the U.S. Navy for 30 years. He was an avid Cubs fan.
He is survived by his sons, Jimmy Struebing of Hopkinton and Neil Struebing of Texas; grandson, Cary (Jennifer) Struebing; and two great-grandchildren, Kaden and Juliana.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
