Dale Paul Muller, 80, went home to Jesus with family by his side on April 3, 2022, at Hiawatha Care Center following a battle with Parkinson's Disease and cancer.
Per his wishes, he was cremated and a private Celebration of Life will be held
with family and close friends at a later date.
Dale was born July 15, 1941, in Monticello, Iowa, to Genevieve (Kuriger) and Paul Muller. He graduated from Monticello High School and entered the U.S. Army in 1959. Dale married the love of his life, Mary Jean "Jeanie" Kula, on Oct. 19, 1963. Dale worked as a machinist at Link Belt Speeder, Triple E Manufacturing, Latner Boiler, Cedar Rapids Inc., and Sadler Power Train.
He was a member of All Saints Catholic Church.
Dale loved spending time with family and friends and attending his grand children's many activities. He also enjoyed restoring his 1974 Bronco and working on projects in his garage. He enjoyed spending retirement with his wife, Jeanie. He enjoyed watching and attending NASCAR race events. Dale always put others needs in front of his own. He was a great husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Left to celebrate Dale's life is his wife, Jeanie; sons; Kurtis (Beth) Muller of Cedar Rapids and Randal "Randy" Muller and care giver Stacy Ernst of Hiawatha; grandchildren, Meaghan Muller (fiance Tom Butz) of Independence, Mo., Jacob Muller of Cedar Rapids, Ryan Muller of Dallas, Texas, and Luke Muller of Des Moines; great grandson, Leo; special friends, the Bill and Mo Fisher family; his loving sister, Joyce Gessner; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and special nephew, Mark Kula.
