Dake, Charlotte
Charlotte Dake, 93, died Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010, at Bethany Life Communities in Story City after a short illness. Services: 11 a.m. Monday at Grace United Methodist Church in Lamont. Special memorial services will be Tuesday at the Bethany Life Chapel in Story City. Burial: Evergreen Cemetery, Vinton. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Fawcett Funeral Home in Lamont and from 10 a.m. to service time Monday at the church.
Surviving family includes four sons, Dennis (Dorothy) of Ames, Maurice (Jane) of Lantana, Fla., Ronald (Shannon) of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Robert (Ann) of Safety Harbor, Fla.; nine grandsons; six granddaughters; 14 great-grandsons; and five great-granddaughters.
