Daisy Mae (Patten) Stark, 73, of Norway, Iowa, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, February 06, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at the Cedar Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Memories. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at the Cedar Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel Stateroom. Interment will be at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
Daisy was born on April 19, 1943 in Albion New York. She was united in marriage to Vern D. Stark on November 17, 1962 in Cedar Rapids. They were blessed with two children. The couple owned and operated the Stark's Vacuum and Sewing Company in Cedar Rapids for 30 years.
Family was most important to Daisy.
Daisy's memory will be cherished by her husband Vern of 54 years, daughter Chris (Mike) Thomas, son John (Angie) Stark, two sisters, Maxine Stewart, Diane Havlik, two brothers, Doug (Sue) Patten, David (Janet) Patten; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Marcia, two brothers, Marvin and Dale.
