Daimon L. Swalley, 4-week-old son of Erin Swalley and Alicia Porter, died July 2, 2017, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Services: 3 p.m. Thursday at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories, where friends may call after
2 p.m. Thursday. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his mother, Alicia Porter of Norway; his father, Erin Swalley, and a brother, Adrian Bales, both of Cedar Rapids; his maternal grandparents, Terry and Mary Porter of Norway; two uncles, Shane and Casey Carpenter; and a cousin, Maliah Carpenter.
A memorial fund has been established in Daimon's name.
