Dahl, Scott Jeffrey

Scott Jeffrey Dahl, 45, of Lincoln, Neb., formerly of Cedar Rapids, lost his courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, March 22, 2012, in Lincoln. A celebration of his life will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 31, at the Antelope Park Shelter #1, Lincoln.

Survivors include his mother, Diane Dahl of Cedar Rapids; sisters, Lisa (Dahl) Clancy of Cedar Rapids, Michelle (Dahl) Dean of Robins, Nicole (Dahl) Weis and Sylvan of Hiawatha; his life partner, Todd Ward of Lincoln; nephews, Chris and Matt Dunn and families of Cedar Rapids; and a niece, Erin Clancy, of Madera, Calif.

He was preceded in death by his father, Norman Dahl in 2002.

Scott was born Feb. 14, 1967, the son of Norman and Diane Dahl in Cedar Rapids. He worked at Source One, Lincoln, Neb., which provided the worksite where he did metal fabrication and utilized scrap metal to make unique metal tables enjoyed by many family and friends. Scott enjoyed fishing, lawn and gardening, flowers, salt water fish and his pets.
