Dahl, Duane M.
Duane M. Dahl, 79, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, July 8, 2012, at his home. Memorial Services: 11 a.m. Thursday, July 12, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, where the family will greet friends from 9 a.m. until service time. The Rev. David Miller will officiate. Inurnment: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his sons, Kerry Dahl of Ladora, Barry Dahl of Cedar Rapids and Parry (Jamie) of Marion; and a sister, Dolores Summy of Apache Junction, Ariz.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Karol; and twin brother, Don.
Duane was born May 18, 1933, the son of Furness and Inez (O'Bryan) Dahl, in Tabor, Iowa. He served in the United States Navy. On Oct. 16, 1955, Duane was united in marriage to Karol Wagner in Oxford, Iowa. She died Nov. 3, 1989. For 33 years, he worked in accounting for Wilson Foods.
