Daehn, Bradley M.
Bradley M. Daehn, 50, of Hale, died Sept. 6, 2013, at Genesis West Medical Center, Davenport. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, at Chapman Funeral Home in Wheatland, with a memorial service at 7 p.m. Feel free to honor Brad in casual attire. Brad will be cremated after the service, with burial at a later date.
Born April 27, 1963, in DeWitt, Iowa, he was the son of Gerhardt and Susan (Leslie) Daehn. Brad graduated from Lost Nation High School and UNI. He earned his master's of education degree and taught at several schools in Iowa and Illinois. He also helped many people when he worked in the health care and social services fields.
Survivors include his mother, Susan (Frank) Caes; and siblings, Robin Todd, Paul (Tina) Daehn, Rodney Daehn, Laura Caes, Margaret (TJ) Scaparotti, Eric (Nancy) Daehn and Heather (Victor) Curly. His pride and joy were his numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; brother, Todd Daehn; sister, Anna Marie Daehn; and his grandparents.
