Cynthia Sydney Pappas, 78, of Marion, Iowa, passed away Monday, July 5, 2021, at Manor Care in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Cynthia was born June 20, 1943, to Charles and Mabel (Canfield) Johnston in Davenport, Iowa. She married Thomas A. Pappas on June 14, 1969, at St. John's Episcopal in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Cynthia retired as a janitor from Midwest. She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Ann Pappas of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and two grandsons, Joseph Decious of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Daniel Pappas of West Liberty, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband, Thomas.
