Cindy was born Feb. 16, 1952, in Williamsburg, Iowa, the daughter of Martin and Jo (Mente) Beer. Upon their arrival, she and her twin sister, Connie, were the joy of the family. Cindy loved horses. She took great delight in the dressage of exhibition and riding.
She always enjoyed gardening, but her family was her joy and she loved family gettogethers. This was especially true about the holidays, especially Christmas and Easter.
Survivors include her parents, Martin "Butch" and Jo Beer of Iowa City; a brother, Theodore "Ted" Beer (Deborah) of Overland Park, Kan.; uncle, Herbert Beer; aunts, Paula Sandersfeld, Norma Mollison, Sylvia Taulbee, Lois Dunnevant, Genevieve Meier and Geraldine Reeve; nephews and nieces, Alicia McConathy (Mark), Eric Beer (Jennifer), Christopher Beer (Natalie), Jessica Kinney, Stephen Kinney (Kelly), James Kinney and Sarah Schroth (Matt); and eight great-nephews.
Cindy was preceded in death by her grandparents; her maternal twin sister, Constance Beer Kinney; and an infant brother, Michael Beer.
