Crow, Robert T.
Robert T. Crow, 90, of Garnavillo, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, at the Guttenberg Municipal Hospital. There will be no services or visitation. Iowa Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his children, Robert (Linda) Crow of Springfield, Mo., Michael of Peplin, Wis., Linda (Beuford) Barnhart of Guttenberg, Jeffrey Crow of Garnavillo, Dennis (Susan) Crow of Jesup and Jody (Cindy) Crow of Guttenberg; 17 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bettie Jean Crow; his parents; two brothers, Donald and Ray; a sister, Maxine; and a grandson, Paul.
Robert was born June 4, 1922, in Garrison, Iowa, the son of Eugene and Hazel Crow. He married Bettie Jean Davis on June 5, 1944, in Waterloo. Robert's occupation was farming. He also was a carpenter and a cheese maker. His favorite pastime was woodworking, gardening and spending time with his family and friends.
Robert served in the Army during World War II.
He will greatly missed by his family and friends.
