Crow, Edward P.
Edward P. Crow, 74, died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids, following an extended illness. Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at the United Congregational Church in Anamosa. Pastor Mark Buck will officiate at the service. Internment will be at the Riverside Cemetery in Anamosa. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Surviving are cousins, Wanda (Rodney) Ashcraft of Cedar Lake, Ind., Lavern (Garnet) Winchip of Cedar Rapids, Maxine (James) Althouse of Bradenton Beach, Fla. and Joseph (Karyn) Crow of Concord, Calif.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents.
Ed P. Crow was born Jan. 16, 1938, in Anamosa, Iowa. He was the son of Clifford and Leone Preston Crow. Edward was a 1956 graduate of Anamosa High School. Ed worked with his father at the family store Crow's Clothing in Anamosa and later for many years at Von Maur at Westdale Mall in Cedar Rapids, where he worked until he retired.
Ed was a kind, caring and compassionate person who enjoyed helping others even those he did not know, he will be missed dearly by those who knew him best.
