Crow, Bettie Jean
Bettie Jean Crow, 85, of Garnavillo, died Tuesday, June 1, 2010. The Cremation Society of Eastern Iowa is assisting with arrangements.
Bettie is survived by her husband, Robert; sons, Robert (Linda) Crow of Stephen, S.D., and Michael Crow of Pepin, Wis.; daughter, Linda (Beuford) Barnhart of Guttenberg, sons, Jeffrey Crow of Garnavillo, Dennis (Susan) Crow of Jesup and Jody (Cindy) Crow of Guttenberg; sister, Pearl Lodge of Marion; 17 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Bettie was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, a brother, and a grandson.
Bettie Jean Crow was born Aug. 29, 1924, in Fayette, Iowa, the daughter of Hiram and Grace (Tharp) Davis. She married Robert T. Crow on June 5, 1944, in Waterloo. She enjoyed raising her family and helping her husband for the nearly 67 years they had been married.
