Cronin, Kathleen Agnes Nolte
Kathleen Agnes Nolte Cronin, 86, of Anaheim, Calif., died Feb. 8, 2012, as a result of a stroke.
She was born Aug. 3, 1925, in Watkins, Iowa, the daughter of Leo and Madeline (Klein) Nolte. Kathleen was a graduate of Norway High School and Brown's Business College in Iowa City. She married Donald L. Cronin on Dec. 9, 1950, in Seattle, Wash., and lived most of her married life in Anaheim, Calif.
She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Anaheim, where a funeral mass took place.
Kathleen is survived by her children: Connie Palacio of Anaheim, Doug Cronin (Nancy) of Kirkland, Wash., Sue Cronin (Jeff Richards) of Fayetteville, Ark., Bill Cronin (Denise) of El Dorado Hills, Calif., Bob Cronin (Sheri) of Willits, Calif., and Carol Denbow (Craig) of North Bend, Ore.; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Hilda Altmaier of Iowa City and Dorothy (Dan) Hingtgen of Cedar Rapids; and brother, Bill (Rosanne) Nolte of Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Mike and two brothers, Virgil and Lloyd.
