Crist, Clifford M.
Clifford M. Crist, 90, of Stanwood, died Aug. 31, 2011, at the Mechanicsville Nursing and Rehab Center. Funeral services, with Masonic rites: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, at the Stanwood Union Church, with Pastor Phil Leipold officiating. Burial: Stanwood Cemetery. Visitation: 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Survivors include his wife, Jean; two sons, Randall (Catherine) of Cedar Rapids and Grayland (Kathy) of Stanwood; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Mearl.
Born Dec. 6, 1920, in Stanwood, the son of Edwin and Florence (Shuey) Crist, he married Jean Wood on Dec. 12, 1948, in Council Bluffs. .
Cliff was a member of Freemont Masonic Lodge No. 616 and the Farm Bureau. He was a former Lions member. Cliff was a farmer and sold Farm Bureau insurance for 30 years.
