Crawford, Dwaine William

Dwaine William Crawford, 78, of Washington, Iowa, died Monday, June 10, 2013, at Mercy Iowa City following a sudden illness. Celebration of Life services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, June 13, at Jones & Eden Funeral Home, with Pastor Jim Stiles officiating. Visitation will begin at noon Wednesday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Private family burial will take place at Elm Grove Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Crawford of Washington; daughter, Debbie Ponder and husband Joe of St. Louis, Mo.; daughter, Nancy Crawford of Washington; son, Gary Crawford and wife Kathy of Mount Pleasant; son, Mark Crawford and wife Beth of Sheboygan Falls, Wis.; and daughter, Lisa Crawford and husband Roger of Washington; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Ron Crawford and wife Judy of Iowa City; sister, Carolyn Hickman of Naples, Fla.; brother-in-law, Todd Crone and wife Cheryl of Washington; and brother-in-law, Rick Crone and wife Nettee of Cedar Rapids.

In lieu of flowers, a general memorial has been established.
