Cramer, Mary Pauline
Mary Pauline Cramer, 96, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011, surrounded by her loved ones. Funeral services: 10 a.m. Monday at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. Graveside services: 2 p.m. Monday at Rock Island Memorial Park in Rock Island, Ill.
She is survived by her brother, Keith Hiller of Redmond, Wash.; sister, Kathryn Justice of Robins, Iowa; grandchildren, Debbie Lynn (Harvey) Fox, Mark Bowling, Keith (Rebecca) Bowling, Mike (Shelley) Cotter and Tish Stoelzing; eight great grandchildren; and many loved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, LaVerne and Lillie Hiller; brother, Martin Hiller; husband, Keith; and daughter, Judy.
Mary Pauline was born June 11, 1915, east of Wapello, Iowa. She graduated from Wapello High School and attended Coe College in Cedar Rapids. She was united in marriage to Keith J. Cramer June 9, 1940, in the home of her parents in Grandview, Iowa. She worked for Petersen Harned Von Maur. She was a former member of the German United Methodist Church in Wapello. She enjoyed sewing, was active in 4-H and was a prolific letter writer.
All who knew Mary Pauline will remember her wonderful smile and sense of humor.
