Craig Lewerenz, 51, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015. A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Survivors include his wife, Judith; daughters, Ashlie Wood, Kristin Lewerenz and Renee Lewerenz; son, Joshua Parks; grandmother, Ruby Kulk; sisters, Leigh Sandler and Kim (Brian) Keays; and grandchildren, Grant and Brantley.
Craig was born March 31, 1963, in Oshkosh, Wis., the son of Larry and Helen (Zuhlke) Lewerenz. He served his country in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Carl Vinson. A graduate of Kirkwood Community College, Craig worked in tech support for Rockwell Collins. On Feb. 29, 2012, he married Judith in Cedar Rapids.
He was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers, the Grateful Dead and enjoyed boating.
Craig was very proud of his children and will be greatly missed by all of his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
