Courtnage, Catherine
Catherine Courtnage, 90, of Strawberry Point, died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2012, at the Strawberry Point Lutheran Home of a brief illness. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 27, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Strawberry Point. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Roberson Funeral Home with a Scripture service at 7 p.m. Visitation also at 10 a.m. Friday at the church before services. Burial will be in the Strawberry Point Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, Dennis (Cathie) Courtnage of Southport, N.C., and Dean (Kate) Courtnage of Strawberry Point; two grandsons, Robert (Leah) of Arlington, Va., and Andrew (Katrina) of Fredericksburg, Va.; and two granddaughters, Ashley (Corey) Leichtman of Reedsburg, Wis., and Chelsey (Nick) Courtnage of Cedar Rapids; one great-grandson, Grant of Fredericksburg, Va.; and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Frommelt of Oelwein.
Catherine was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don; two brothers, Merlin and Loren; and a sister-in-law, Dorothy.
