Corum, Patricia Ann
Patricia Ann Corum, 75, of Marion, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died April 11, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center following kidney failure as a result of lupus. Inurnment will be held at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband and best friend, Stanley E. Corum; son, Michael Corum and wife Jaxine of Pella; daughters, Peggy Corum of Braselton, Ga., and Nancy Montague and husband Rick of Cedar Rapids; brother, Obe Ross, Jr. and wife Dolores of Chesterfield, Mo.; stepsister, Joyce Montague of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Teresa Corcran, Jarod Yerkes, Grant Corum, Eric Long, Suzanne Corum, Elizabeth Estes, Lindsey Estes and Andrew Corum; and great-grandchildren, Sabrina, Tylor, Austin, Magdalena, and Maximus.
Patricia was born March 20, 1936 in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Obe M. and Charlotte M. (Anderson) Ross. She was united in marriage to Stanley E. Corum on January 9, 1954 in Marion, Iowa. She was employed for several years at Rockwell Collins, Square D, and L.I.F.T.S. Pat enjoyed going to casinos to play the slot machines with her two daughters, fishing with her husband, and time spent with her family. She will be greatly missed.
