Cornelis, Emily Mae
Emily Mae Cornelis, 85, died Sunday, Oct. 30, 2011, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City following a brief illness. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 7, at Hrabak Funeral Home, by the Rev. Charles Johnson. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
She is survived by a son, Charles (Sharon) Cornelis of Bearsville, N.Y.; daughter, Janice (Jim) Hinschberger of Solon; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Leon (Shirley) Cornelis of Boone; and sisters-in-law, Phyllis and Marion Cornelis of Belle Plaine.
Memorials may be directed to the Belle Plaine Area Ambulance.
