Cope, Keith A.
Keith A. Cope, 86, of Marion, died Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013, at Jones County Regional Medical Center, Anamosa. Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion. The family will greet friends from 4 until 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12, at the funeral home and one hour before the service at the funeral home on Tuesday. Burial: Friends Cemetery, Whittier.
Survivors include his son, Michael Cope of Springville; daughter, Kelly Parker of California; three grandchildren, Adela Cope of Iowa City, Ariel Cope of North Liberty and Calvin Cope of Cedar Rapids; brother, Curt (Winifred) Cope of Springville; and many other loving family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Ellen.
Keith was born Dec. 23, 1926, in Paullina, Iowa, the son of John and Asenith (Pike) Cope. He truly enjoyed over the road truck driving for most of his life.
