Cooper, Conard 'Chuck'
Conard “Chuck” Cooper, passed away peacefully in his home on Monday evening, May 9, 2011, with his loving wife at his side. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. today at the Iowa Theatre Artists Co., Amana.
A memorial fund has been established and may be directed along with condolences to the family at 814 32nd Ave., Middle Amana, IA 52203.
Chuck is survived by his beautiful wife, Ruth Mary Erickson Cooper; sons, Michael (Patsy) Cooper of Sacramento, Calif., and Kennard (Pam) Cooper of Meridian, Idaho; three grandchildren, Stacy (Cooper) Baade, Troy Cooper and Chad Cooper; six great-grandchildren, Giovanni Betts, Ciara Betts, Braiden Betts, Brittney Betts, Chloe Baade and
Tucker Baade; and sisters, Ruth Gormann of Storm Lake, Maxine “Mickey” Rube of Benbrook, Texas and Geraldine “Geri” Holmes of Escondido, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Granville William Cooper and Harriet Irene (Cook) Cooper; sons, Scott and Richard Cooper; grandson, Eric Cooper; brothers, Charles, Forest, Eddie and Jack Cooper; sisters, Irene Junkemeier, Loretta Meyer, Edna Jones and Vera Roberts; and his first wife, Lucille Houdeshell Cooper.
Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, is assisting the family.
