Cooper, Anna Rose
Anna Rose Cooper, 90, passed away Nov. 2, 2010, in Kent, Ohio. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 8, at Keokuk National Cemetery in Keokuk, Iowa, with the Rev. Mr. William Cosgrove officiating. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Sunday at Greaves Mortuary in Keokuk, with family meeting with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. and a Christian vigil service held at 7 p.m.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary Neuzil of Kent, Ohio and Christina Moore of Ankeny; five grandchildren, Staci Crees, Joe Neuzil, Carrie Newell, Lexi Winnen and John Neuzil; and eight great-grandchildren, Nick, Amber, Allison, Sam, Devin, Isaac, Molly and Jack.
She was born June 15, 1920, in New Franklin, Mo., the daughter of John A. Sinclair and Mary Margaret Etienne. Anna Rose graduated from St. Peters High School in Keokuk. She was married to Floyd Cooper of Burlington, Iowa on Oct. 31, 1941, and together they had two children. Anna Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd.
