Coon, Lois Adeline
Lois Adeline Coon, 94, of Crawfordsville, Iowa, died Friday, April 13, 2012, at the Henry County Health Center following a sudden illness.
Celebration of Life services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 18, at the United Church of Crawfordsville with services conducted by Rev. Nancy Oehler-Love and Larry Fletcher. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington where the family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday. Interment will take place at the Crawfordsville Cemetery. Memorials have been established for the United Church of Crawfordsville or the American Cancer Society. She is survived by daughter, Carman Kay Summarsell of Hartland, Vt.; daughter, Karen Fay Stapp and husband Sam of Wapello, Iowa; son, Ronald Merrill Coon of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; son, Terrell Lee Coon and wife Debra of Mount Pleasant, Iowa; 12 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
